Policies

The Equipment Office at Dartmouth’s Film and Media Studies Program offers students enrolled in production courses access to professional-grade film equipment resources. Bookings can be made at https://dc-fas-dfms.getconnect2.com/ and are available for 3-day rental periods. The Equipment Office hours for Spring 2024 are Monday/Tuesday/Thursday, from 10 AM to 5 PM, and Friday, from 10 AM to 3:30 PM.

When picking up your booking, please arrive promptly to collect your equipment. Failure to collect equipment within 1 hour of the booking time will result in your booking being automatically canceled.

If you no longer wish to borrow the items, you can delete the reservation by logging back into your account and selecting "Active Booking" near the top of the page. From the next page you will see your bookings and can click on the booking reference (e.g. Con123456) and then delete your booking. This can only be done before the items are due for collection.

Students are responsible for any lost or damaged items. Late returns will result in suspension equal to the number of days late. Students must be present for all pickups and returns.

Students can reserve facility spaces via the "Facilities" option under the "Book by Category" tab on the Connect2 home page. Students reserving the animation spaces will not need to rent a studio separate access card but will when reserving Studios 106 and 108.

Students are responsible for facility spaces while rented. Facilities left in any condition other than that which the student found them will result in a one-week suspension.
